Group Workshops

At C-endo we offer group education classes for our patients to learn all about diabetes and connect with other people living with the same condition.

Our small group workshops focus on teaching our patients the basics of diabetes. They cover topics from what diabetes is, preventing the complications of diabetes, and lifestyle changes you can make to improve your blood glucose control.

Learning in a group offers a unique experience because our patients are surrounded by others that share the same questions, concerns or frustrations. At C-endo, we keep the groups small in size, with no more than 6 people in a workshop to create a more personalized experience that makes our patients feel more comfortable and connected.

The workshops we currently offer are:

  • Diabetes 101 – Introduction to Diabetes
  • Diabetes 102 – Diabetes and Lifestyle
  • Diabetes 103 – Carbohydrate Counting

Diabetes education is an ongoing process that should continue throughout your entire life. Meeting regularly with our certified diabetes educators and endocrinologists allows our patients to keep up to date with their diabetes management giving them the power to manage their diabetes effectively and reach their goals.

If you have not yet connected with a Certified Diabetes Educator ask your Endocrinologist or Internist at your next visit, or call the clinic to set up an appointment today!
