Theressa completed her Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology in 2014. Shortly after, she became a Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist. Looking to further her knowledge after migrating to Canada, Theressa took all the refresher courses in Michener Institute of Education in Ontario and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology for Clinical Laboratory Science such as Clinical Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry and Microscopy, Hematology and Coagulation, Immunology and Serology, Blood Banking, Immunohistopathologic Techniques and Quality Assurance Management. To date, she participates in webinars that continue to enrich her knowledge in the healthcare and laboratory field and is currently an active member of the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science. Theressa enjoys helping people and having a positive impact on their lives. Outside of work, you will find Theressa spending time with her family and outdoors enjoying nature.
