Endocrinologist
Dr. Erin Miller graduated from Simon Fraser University with first class honours, completing her honours thesis in behavioural psychology and neuroendocrinology. She worked in patient safety, quality improvement and accreditation for a health authority. Dr. Erin received her medical degree from McMaster University, where she started a patient safety and advocacy initiative. Dr. Erin completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Calgary, followed by her residency in Endocrinology at the University of Ottawa. During her Internal Medicine residency, she received the Benevolent Heart Award. During her Endocrinology residency, she was chief resident. Dr. Erin has several accomplishments in research as well. She has received awards for both poster and oral research presentations at local and national academic meetings, including from the Canadian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism. Her research has been published in academic journals, including the Journal of General Internal Medicine. While Dr. Erin is passionate about all areas of endocrinology, she has special interest in the management of endocrine disorders in pregnancy, the endocrine care of transgender individuals as well as pituitary and fertility. She is happy to be part of the C-endo team.
